If you are planning on making a visit to a family amusement park, there are a few things you can do to enhance your journey and have a fun time during your trip.
Way #1: Use the Free Parking
You have enough things that you will have to pay for when you go to an amusement park; parking doesn't have to be one of them. Although there is paid parking at most parks, there are lots of free parking opportunities. You may be able to find parking by a shuttle or trolley that will take you to the park. No reason to pay out for parking when you can just take the trolley.
Way #2: Bring Cash to Pay for Things
Although you can pay with a card for all your purchases, you are better off bringing cash to pay for your expenses at the park. When you bring cash to pay for your purchases, you will be able to stick to the budget that you set for yourself. You will also get through the lines faster when you are able to pay for cash and don't have to wait for your transaction to go through each time.
Way #3: Bring Your Own Stroller
If you have a young child who is not up for walking around the entire time, you are going to want to bring your own stroller. Although you can rent a stroller, there is no reason to waste your money if you have a stroller you can easily bring with you that your children are used to riding in and are comfortable with already.
Way #4: Enjoy the Entertainment
The rides are not the only things you can enjoy when you are at a family amusement park. There are often lots of different forms of entertainment spread throughout the park. There may be lots of shows and entertainment acts you can take in throughout the day for free. Be sure to enjoy some of this entertainment. This is a great way to catch your breath, get off your feet, and take a little break during your busy day at the theme park.
Way #5: Eat Before You Go to the Park
Finally, most amusement parks don't open until around ten in the morning, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a good breakfast before you head to the park. Eating breakfast will allow you to get to the park and start having fun right away and will allow you to enjoy a later lunch when things are not as busy at the food stands.
If you are heading to an amusement park, use the free nearby parking, bring your own stroller, bring some cash to pay for things, eat before you go to the park, and enjoy the entertainment options throughout the park.
